ο Set reminders and attention focusers (e.g., make lists, place post-it-notes) and change reminders frequently to not get used to them.
ο Surround yourself with people who are positive reminders of which tasks and opportunities you would like to engage in and pursue.
ο Develop a “growth perspective” (that is, focus on your growth, progress and the inherent value of a task) instead of focusing on outperforming yourself and others.
ο Replace negative self-talk with the above growth perspective.
